Who are we ?
Welcome to the Bransgore Rotary Website.

President for 2009-2010 is Bill Casey

Bransgore and District Rotary Club currently has 28 members.
We meet each Monday evening usually at the Carpenters Arms in Burley Road.

There, we plan our fundraising activities or enjoy a speaker from the community.
Most importantly we enjoy the company of our Rotarian friends and also from time to time, that of their partners.

We meet for Boules or Skittles matches, we may have a theatre trip or continue our round the world voyage by meeting at a restaurant representing a different country.
But our main aim is to support the community by giving practical help or by raising money for charitable causes—whilst having fun doing it for example our annual golf day has raised £20000 over the years.

During this financial year (2008-2009)
• we have already raised in excess of £5000, with 2 more events yet to run.
•From our fundraising so far we have been able to donate:
•£3000 to the Stable family Home Trust in Bisterne, £1250 to Rotary Foundation and £1250 to Polio Plus, a charity trying to eradicate Polio from the World.

On the practical side we organise the village fun day, we provided shoe boxes to 3 schools so that they can be packed with Christmas gifts for Romania and our major fund raiser is a boxing evening in partnership with the local ABA club
